Undergraduate

On behalf of the Department of Ophthalmology at Queen's University, welcome to the undergraduate section of our website.

Firstly, we are excited to be accepting undergraduate medical students for electives and observerships again!

Meanwhile, I invite you to explore the undergraduate programs hosted by our department. We aim to create the best learning experience possible, and are constantly striving to enhance our educational opportunities.

Within Queen's School of Medicine, we provide core undergraduate teaching, including didactic classroom lectures for second year Queen's students, as well as hands-on clinical skills sessions to 1st and 2nd year students.

More universally, we also invite undergraduate students (and postgraduate residents) to participate in observerships and electives in our department.

Please follow the links below to our farious undergraduate educational offerings.

If you are interested in joining our department as a resident, please visit out postgraduate page to learn more about our program, and the CaRMS process.

Thank you for your interest in the Queen's Department of Ophthalmology. We hope to pique your interest in Ophthalmology, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes,
Dr. C. Law, MD, FRCSC
Undergraduate Program Director
